Analyzing Data
Viewing Live Sensor Readings on Building Model
- Sign in to the PassiveLogic software suite (Chrome browser required). The Portfolio landing page opens.
- In Portfolio, select the deployed project and click the icons in the project card to open in Live.
The live 3D model of the building is displayed in the Live app Building tab, with bubbles called sensor billboards displaying measurements from sensors in the space.
Changing the Sensor Measurement Displayed
The bubbles displaying the sensor readings on the building model are called sensor billboards. If the building is being controlled, the default is the comfort range. For monitoring-only deployments, default is the temperature.
To change which measurement is being displayed, click the Unit picker icon . This example shows humidity.
Viewing Live Data Charts with Building Model
- Sign in to the PassiveLogic software suite (Chrome browser required). The Portfolio landing page opens.
- In Portfolio, select the deployed project and click the icons in the project card to open in Live.
The live 3D model of the building is displayed in the Live app Building tab, with bubbles called sensor billboards displaying measurements from sensors in the space. - Select one of the sensor billboards. A chart of live data appears on the lower 1/3 of the screen, a 1/3 graph version of the Data Analysis panel. Click the caret to expand to a full-screen view.
The data is displayed in "drawers" or expandable lists, grouped by floor and zone, and by either Device or Unit of measurement. For example, with it set to Device, you will see all the measurements being taken by a single Sense Nano device all together. With it set to Unit, you would see all the Temperature, Humidity, etc. readings for all of the sensors together. Use the caret iconto expand the graph to fill the screen.
- To highlight just one line on the chart, select an item on the left.
- If desired, toggle whether to group data by Device.
Viewing All Live Data on Analysis Tab
The Analysis tab shows all your sensor and equipment time series data, in a full-screen format.
Downloading Data as a .csv File
On both the Building tab and the Analysis tab, you can download a .csv of your time series data using the download icon . Before downloading, open all the analysis drawers for which you want to download data.
Visualizing Custom Data Graphs with Qortex
In most of the PassiveLogic software suite, you can access Qortex AI in the upper right corner to ask questions about your building. Qortex can answer questions in text as well as create visualizations for the information you request. (Feature in beta development.)
