Expanded Project Analytics
Get more out of your analytics data with new ways to organize, navigate, and monitor your site, offering you more control over how you interact with and interpret your data.
Track equipment status over time
System charts display active and inactive periods of your equipment, helping you identify and troubleshoot usage patterns across your project.
Organize your graphs by project hierarchy
In addition to listing analytics data by device or by unit of measurement, now you can also select whether to organize by building, floor, or by spaces that are served by the same equipment (zone group). Make your selections at the bottom of the analytics panel. Customizable grouping provides flexibility in how site-level data is presented within the analytics graph.
Synchronized sensor selection visibility
Selecting a sensor in the analytics panel or Building view now highlights the corresponding element in the other view. Selection state is shared across both contexts.
Temperature Unit Preference
Temperature readings in deployed sites now can reflect your preferred unit of measurement. In Live, set your preference by opening the user menu at the top right and choosing Celsius or Fahrenheit. In the current implementation, the setting persists until the browser window is refreshed, and you can reset it as needed.
Streamlined Building View Navigation
Double-click any element in your building view to instantly zoom and center on it. Spend less time panning and scrolling, and more time focused on the areas that matter to your workflow.
Quality Updates and Performance Improvements
We've included several updates to improve minor UX behaviors and performance snags across our whole application suite.
2025.9.1.1
Control System Zone Grouping
Zone groups enable control logic definition based on existing floor plan layouts. Each group represents spaces related by shared control systems, maintaining both physical layout representation and building control structure within a single unified view.
Define control groups from floor plans
Create control groups by choosing one or more spaces in the building editor, then use in the building toolbar. Remove a group from your floor plan by selecting any space within it and use
in the building toolbar. This action removes the association between the spaces, so they are no longer grouped.
View comfort profile by control system
Groups aggregate comfort settings across all constituent spaces within a control system. Selecting a group displays the unified comfort profile applied to that system.
Quality Updates and Performance Improvements
We've included several updates to improve minor UX behaviors and performance snags across our whole application suite.
2025.9
Comfort Gauge Bubbles
Your building view in Live now shows whether a controlled zone is comfortable based on your defined preferences. The comfort gauge bubble displays where the current readings for your zone fall within your comfort range. The comfort level indicator highlights if a zone is too cold, too hot, or just right, providing you a streamlined summary of your system in action.
Analytics Interaction Enhancements
Chart interactions have been simplified so they behave consistently and fit naturally into your workflow. Clicking a sensor now opens a compact one-third graph for quick insight, while the caret cycles through full-screen, one-third screen, and closing the chart. You can also dismiss any chart in one-third view by simply clicking outside it.
Chart Drawer Organization
Analytics drawers have been reorganized to reflect how buildings are actually structured, showing data by Floor and Zone by default. You can still group your results by Unit or Device for a more customized view based on your preferences. Device groupings expand to show their individual units, making it easier to trace performance from high-level zones down to specific equipment.
Improved Portfolio View
We have improved behaviors in the portfolio view experience. Selecting a project in the left panel of the Location map view will center to your site location and open the project card for quicker access to key details. Whenever you return to your portfolio, your previous state will be restored just as you left it so you can pick up right where you were.
Quality Updates and Performance Improvements
We've included several updates to improve minor UX behaviors and performance snags across our whole application suite.
2025.8
Level 3 Autonomous Control
Transform building control from per-system tweaks to outcome-based coordination. Level 3.0 Autonomy removes hand-coded cross-system logic, reducing your day-to-day setpoint juggling, all while keeping you in the loop about decisions.
Single, cross-subsystem control path
Resolve trade-offs across HVAC, lighting, storage, facade, and more with one coordinated plan. The reasoning engine prioritizes outcome adherence, improving the time within your comfort bands all while honoring your constraints.
Manage your comfort profile
You retain full authority over your preferences and constraints. Visualize the reasoning behaviors right in the Live interface. Modify a priority or bound and the coordinated plan will propagate those behaviors throughout the system.
Select a zone in your Live building model to set its comfort profile, called the persona, and Level 3 Autonomy takes care of the rest. Our sophisticated comfort model considers all six factors of human comfort: clothing, activity level, temperature, radiant temperature, humidity, and air movement. The new Comfort panel lets you indicate the expected clothing and activity level for occupants in that space. Guests can also tap the Hive screen and use the clothing level slider to adjust comfort. The other four factors are measured by sensors or inferred from conditions in adjacent zones. The peak of the curve represents maximum comfort. When the system is changing the conditions of the space, arrows and “Making it hotter” or “Making it colder” indicate work in progress. If you’re still uncomfortable after the progress indicators disappear, you can adjust the slider toward “I’m hot” or “I’m cold” to tune your comfort.
Personalized Tenant Spaces
Buildings support partitioning into defined spaces that can be assigned to individual tenants. Your occupants gain control of their own spaces while still preserving a single, centralized building model. This capability is available upon request through your PassiveLogic representative.
