Managing Your PassiveLogic Account
Resetting/changing your password
To reset a forgotten password:
- On the sign in page, click Forgot password?
- In the page that appears, enter your email address and click Request reset link.
You will receive an email allowing you to reset your password.
- Check the email account you entered for the Password reset request email. Open the email you received, and click Reset my password.
The page that opens will let you reset your password and then sign in. Chrome browser is required for PassiveLogic applications at this time.
If you don’t see an email from PassiveLogic, check your spam folder. You can add noreply@passivelogic.com to your contacts to make sure future emails go to your inbox.
To change your password:
In the Portfolio application, click the Account button in the top right corner.
- In the menu, click the account name.
The Account page opens. - In the Profile panel of the Account page, click Edit next to Password.
- Enter your current password and a new password in the Change Password dialog. Click Update.
You will receive an email confirming the change.
Editing your account
To change your account email:
- In the Portfolio application, click the Account button in the top right corner.
- In the menu, click the account name.
The Account page opens.
- In the Profile panel of the Account page, click Edit next to Email address.
- In the Change Email dialog, enter the New Email, enter your password, and click Update.
You will receive an email confirming the change.
To rename your account:
- In the Portfolio application, click the Account button in the top right corner.
- In the menu, click the account name.
The Account page opens.
- In the Profile panel of the Account page, click Edit next to First name and Last name.
- Edit the names in the Change Name dialog and click Update.
To edit your PassiveLogic personal organization:
- In the Portfolio application, click the Account button in the top right corner.
- In the menu, click the account name.
The Account page opens.
- On the left, click Organization in the menu.
- On the Organization page, click Edit next to the name.
- In the Organization Information dialog, enter a new name in the Name field, and click Save.
To change the image for your PassiveLogic personal organization:
- In the Portfolio application, click the Account button in the top right corner.
- In the menu, click the account name.
The Account page opens.
- On the left, click My Organization In the menu.
- On the Organization page, click Edit next to the name.
- In the Organization Information dialog, click Upload and choose an image to upload.

Managing organizations in Portfolio
When you sign in to the Portfolio web application for the first time, your view will default to your personal organization space. To collaborate with others, you must either be part of the same organization, or share individual projects.
If invited by an organization Admin, you'll receive an invitation email with a link to join. Make sure to use Chrome browser to open the link. You can also just accept the invitation the next time you sign in to your account, as new org invitations will be displayed during the sign-in sequence.
To join a shared organization:
- On a desktop or laptop computer, check your email account, open the email you received from PassiveLogic inviting you to the shared organization, then click Join now.
Make sure to open the link in the Chrome browser. If a different browser opens by default, copy the link and paste it into Chrome to continue. - Sign in to your account, then click the shared organization button.
- Portfolio opens, displaying projects from your new shared organization.
To invite someone to your organization:
- In Portfolio, click the account icon in the upper right corner

- Click your account name.
The account page appears. - Click My Organization in the left panel > click Invite.
- Enter the email address of team members and select the level of access you want them to have (Admin, Editor, or View-Only). Then click Invite.
They will receive an email invitation.
